Clinical Scientist at UHB taking part in prestigious national programme

17 September 2018

Dr Geoff Heyes, Lead Cyberknife Clinical Scientist at UHB, will take part in the prestigious Chief Scientific Officer’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership for Leaders in Healthcare Science programme. The 12 month development programme aims to improve patient care through collaborations across clinical, research and industry sectors.

Dr Heyes, one of nine healthcare scientists taking part nationally, will have the opportunity to build long-term partnerships, working with partner organisations across the UK’s National Measurement System (NMS). He will also have the opportunity to enhance his leadership skills through development coaching and will have the opportunity to speak at next year’s NHS England Chief Scientific Officer’s Conference.
