MW-ATTC develop new resources for healthcare professionals

The Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre network have recently developed training materials for staff in the NHS and beyond working in the excitng new field of advanced therapies.
A logistics video, explaining the process for transporting cell and gene therapy materials, has been developed by the Midlands-Wales Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre, one of three centres funded by the Innovate UK Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund to support patient access to advacned therapy medicinal products across the country.
A presentation that introduces staff to advanced therapies has also been developed.
The MW-ATTC consists of a clinical network with NHS, industry and academic centres based in South Wales, Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester, nine commercial organisations and NHS Blood and Transplant that cover different aspects of the overall production and delivery of advanced therapies
