Join the West Midlands Robotics and Autonomous Systems Cluster for a special event at the University of Birmingham Medical School on Thursday 26 June, from 08:30 to 14:00.

The event is designed for clinicians, innovators and investors looking to develop and adopt robotics technologies in the medical sector.

The West Midlands boasts a robust MedTech manufacturing sector, contributing approximately £1.6 billion annually to the region’s economy.

This sector encompasses around 1,000 companies, making it the largest concentration of MedTech businesses in the UK and the second-largest employer in this field, with a workforce of 23,600.

Robotics and automation have the potential to deliver real-time improvements that support the NHS in addressing the challenges of an ageing population and increasing demand. They do this by transforming healthcare operations through state-of-the-art systems that enhance precision, efficiency, and patient care.

At this free event, delegates will hear from key players in the field and learn about the role of robotics and autonomous systems in the future of healthcare. They will also hear about the manufacturing innovations required to help make this future a reality.
