The Reality of the Reporting Radiographer’s Role
A survey of a sample of 500 diagnostic radiographers from across the UK who have undertaken postqualification education in image reporting of appendicular and axial skeleton will be undertaken by postal questionnaire. Thesurvey will aim to determine what impact this education has had upon their daytodaywork as a radiographer and theproportion of their workload that is devoted to image reporting. As data are to be collected from across the UK theresearch will deliver a current national picture of the impact upon radiographers who have chosen to extend their rolesinto skeletal reporting. This impact is the result of a developing educational agenda over the past 20 years.
